A Clinical Approach

Tend’s customer journey has been designed by our founder, alongside an in-house consulant dermatologist. The process streamlines the customer experience, providing the benefits of a private consultation, but at a fraction of the cost.

Our Pricing

  • You’ll start with a 3-month initial expert care plan membership, for just £15.99/month.
  • That’s only 60p per day and less than 10% of the cost of two private appointments.
  • After your initial 3-months, you’ll continue with a rolling membership that you can cancel anytime.
If we’re unable to achieve a measurable benefit in your eczema symptoms we’ll refund your membership costs.

FAQs

Can you arrange patch or allergy testing?

We are unable to arrange patch or allergy testing for our patients at the moment. If we believe that you may benefit from patch testing, we will inform you during your video call and provide guidance on how you can arrange it.

What happens if my skin doesn’t get better?

If your skin doesn't improve under our care, we will provide you with a summary of your records and offer recommendations on how you might access care from elsewhere. If we are unable to achieve a measurable benefit in your eczema control, you will be eligible for a refund of your membership costs.

Will I be offered a follow up appointment?

We will arrange scheduled check-ins to check your progress and if necessary make amends to your treatment plan.

What does "treatments at cost" mean?

Our partner pharmacy oversees the purchase and sale of any products recommended as part of your treatment plan. We do not receive any payment from them for these products following their purchase.

Will I get to speak to a specialist?

No, after completing your e-consultation, your data will be reviewed by our clinical team, and a treatment plan will be developed to meet your needs. Our in-house specialist oversees this process. You will then be offered a video consultation with a member of our clinical team to discuss your treatment plan and next steps.

How long does the process take?

When you sign up, you will complete our pre-assessment. This process allows us to screen for individuals who may not benefit from our service. If you fall into this category, you will not be able to access the consultation page automatically. In this situation, we will contact you directly to offer additional advice. If you successfully pass the pre-assessment, you will have immediate access to the E-consultation which you can complete at any time. Once your E-consultation is completed and photos submitted we will review your case. We aim to review your case within 72 hours. Once your case has been reviewed we will send you a link to book your video call with a member of our clinical team to discuss your treatment plan and next steps.

What’s an E-consultation?

The E-consultation has 2 parts, the first part is a long questionnaire which has 6 sections to complete, each component is crucial to helping us build a full picture of you and your skin. The second part of the consultation involves submitting photos of any active areas of eczema for analysis.

What's the minimum amount of time that I can subscribe?

We require an initial commitment of 3 months to access the platform. You will be charged £47.97 (equivalent to £15.99/month) when you initially sign up. After the initial 3 months, you will be charged £15.99 on a monthly basis and can cancel at any time.

Do I need to tell my GP?

Yes, we recommend that you share your consultation with your GP. It is important that your GP has an up to date record of your medications so that they can safely prescribe for you in the future.

Do I have to do Direct Debit?

Yes, you must pay through direct debit as this allows us to continue collecting your membership payments so we can maintain your access to the platform.
